End of May

It's the last week of May and the heating is still on! It's just not warm enough to switch it off yet. Walking around the village I see that people are still lighting fires in the evenings to keep warm. It's crazy. This is one weird year. - I wonder what future humans will think when they read these kind of blog entries from the time when the Earth was changing fast enough for us to be able to actually see it happening year on year.
Well, after the driest April in 60 years, we now have had plenty of rain and the temperature has actually risen a bit too, so the field behind our house has gone MAD!!!! The grasses have grown 20 cm in a fortnight and all the flowers are trying to bloom at once. The May is just beginning to go over now and most of the trees are in leaf. The lilacs are in full flower too.
Covid has kept me local for the last year, so I have missed seeing the Barn Owls and the hares and the ducklings for this year. That makes me sad.
Trying to find a good website for people who believe the way I do - humanistic paganism. There are general ones out there, but a lot of them are too spiritual for me. Will continue to look.
